Well i may be alone on this one, but i think FSU is going to be the toughest game Bama has played for an opener under Saban. (I know Bama played FSU Sabans first year).
That Qb they have is pretty good. He is not Winston good but he is smart and doesn't make a lot of mistakes. They have a good OL and their RB's are some Bama went after, so we know they are good.

Their D was not great last year, but that can change year to year. Jimbo is a good coach and he will be ready. I know if Bama plays their game we will be alright, but i really think this is going to be a tight game.

Speaking of Deondre Francois, why hasn't Bama expanded its recruiting of French players too? We had the Hispanic players at one time with Julio and Javier. But this French thing could be gold.

Jimbo learned a lot from CNS and is employing the process at FSU the same pretty much. He is no nor will he ever be a CNS because he tolerates to much wrongness but he is doing a good job. The great feather would be for him to beat the teacher and you can bet they will be ready. A couple of people he got that we were after will be assests for them too. RTR!

I watched the FSU spring game. I know it's not a true indicator of what they have, but a couple of things stood out to me. The areas where they have real talent are the RBs and DBs. Nothing else really impressed me that much. I think we can run on them all day long. However, Hurts, or whoever our QB is, and our receivers will be tested.

Anyway, it's still early and a lot can happen between now and then. Should be a good game, at any rate.

If you are asking about their football team I think they are pretty good. A lot of talent at the skill positions. I do not think their OL & DL are as big and physical as they need to be. Fisher wins with talent. I do not think he is a great HC.

It is a tough opener. We will have to play well. Like most of our games if we do not beat our self we should win.

True, but Bama has plenty of talent waiting in the wings...

Big difference between a returning starter and someone with talent but untested. The loss of Foster, Williams, and Anderson is huge, especially when you throw in Jonathan Allen & Tomlinson on the DL.
