Late Rally Costs Alabama Softball in 3-2 Loss to Tennessee Saturday

 Alabama softball scored first against Tennessee Saturday in Knoxville, but a 2-0 lead was erased with two runs in the bottom of the sixth and a walk-off single in the bottom of the seventh would ultimately give the Volunteers the 3-2 comeback victory.

It was a tough loss yesterday but until Bama's bats wake up, there will probably be some more with Bama facing the tough part of their schedule in the weeks ahead. 

The SEC is a much better conference this year from top to bottom than past years and losing a conference game is no disgrace but it sure hurts with the rankings and ratings that affect post season play.

Walks game back to get us in this game. We walked 6 and 1 HBP. After a double to open the bottom of the 7th Osorio walked the next two batters to load the bases with no outs. The winning run was on base and in scoring position due to walks.

We are a dangerous team who can beat anyone. As Jamos said the bats need to wake up.

Bama has scored a total of 2 runs in 2 games. That's not going to win you many games.
