Texas A&M officially joins SEC

Texas A&M has officially been accepted into the Southeastern Conference.
The move is effective July 1, 2012, with competition to begin in all sports for the 2012-13 academic year.

I still think FSU is the 14th team for the SEC. It's a natural fit. They have a solid football team, great baseball program, and an improving basketball program. Plus, location is perfect.

I read a post here which said Missouri had no interest in the SEC and was sticking with the Big 12. Texas agreed to a 6 year contract to share money with the other teams of the league.
