Bo Scarbrough leaving for the draft

Just a guess on my part but I suspected Bo didn't want to hang around another year and risk further injury.  That could knock him out of the NFL forever.  So I can see him thinking...I'm going now and whatever happens in the draft I'll work hard to make a team and live with the outcome.

If he can stay healthy, he's the kind of big RB that can find a role on an NFL team.  Good luck to him.

That has to be the reason.  I doubt he has a 1st or even 2nd round draft grade.  When healthy, Bo can be a difference maker, but he does seem to be injured pretty often.

With the year he had this year, I don't think he does any better than 5th round. Probably worse. If he was able to declare last year; different story.

NFL teams sometimes draft on potential instead of performance.  So he could go higher than the 5th.

He could, but I'd be surprised. I don't think Bo was 100% this year. Will be interesting to see if he passes the physical. He will be closely watched at the Combine.

I read that Phil Savage (who, granted, may err a little on the pro-Bama side at times) said he expected Bo to be a late 2nd/early 3rd round draft pick.  He said 4th would be a bad showing.

Bo is a physical freak, so I'd imagine he will be impressive at the NFL combine IF he gets an invitation, is healthy, and trains hard between now and then.

If he's healthy, I agree he could. I think he would need to go to the combine and show what he's got, to go that high.
