Clemson has decided to start true freshman QB Trevor Lawrence in place of last year's starter Kelly Bryant, who led Clemson to the playoffs as the #1 seeded team.

Dabo taking a page from Saban's playbook, only using it earlier in the season.  (He found out in the playoffs last year that Kelly Bryant can't beat Bama).  Did Bama's domination of the Aggies play into this decision?

I haven't seen any non-stop coverage of Dabo's choice, no feigned outrage or folks taking sides in the press.

Is Saban's personality versus Dabo's personality a factor in the press coverage, or is it because Bama is the Big Dog?

They are all too busy doing their assignments from when CNS told them to write about the mistakes Bama has made so far this year.

I heard this morning on my drive in that Dabo told the QBs his decision and gave Bryant the day off on Monday to "process."  Apparently Bryant also took Tuesday off and didn't show up for practice.  He may be gone.

This redshirt/transfer business has already gotten out of hand, and it's going to be markedly worse next year.

Bryant has played 4 games, so he has that redshirt in his pocket to use this season if he transfers.

Apparently Dabo is addressing the press this morning on the transfer issue.

Bryant, who already has graduated, could transfer to another school with one year of eligibility remaining thanks to a new NCAA rule that allows players to play in up to four games without using a year of eligibility.

Better Florida than the Barn.

He might not want to come to the SEC, though, after playing Bama last year.

Go out to a nice, cozy PAC12 team, where the DL is slower and doesn't hit so hard.

Callers on Finebaum just called to ask if Bryant might go to Arky or Tenn.
OF COURSE!!
BUT, would Bryant go spend his final year with a team that has NO CHANCE of making the playoffs?  Expect him to land at Boogerland, LSU, or maybe even WV.

I don't think WV has a chance to make the playoffs. Maybe a high bowl game though. RTR!

Bryant hasn't shared his ideas about schools yet.  But MANY schools will be contacting him asap.

He's from S.C. and chose Clemson.  Wonder if he'd go with USCe?

But yes, he should have several options.  Bama won't be one of them.
