Potential rat poison.  There will always be times when you need to run the ball.  Especially in short yardage situations late in tight games, or with adverse field conditions.  Think of a wet ball on a rainy day.

OL did a decent (but not perfect) job of pass blocking, but they need to control the line of scrimmage on running plays too.

We were saying the same thing last year until the Clemson game. Good teams need balance. We need to develop a stronger running game. Third and two should not have to be a pass play. I am hoping Deonta Brown provides the same boost to the OL when he returns as he did last year when he was inserted as a starter.

We need this running game to rest the defense. We need this running game to shorten the game some. There are a lot of reasons for running the football BUT, when you can't run it as we use to then you have to stop. Our O-line needs some playing time and to build some strength. RTR!
