The second season of the show follows closely on the first, which enjoyed an 8-week run over the summer. The gender balance is flipped — in Season One, Reese was one of 20 bachelors pursuing University of Alabama student Devin Grissom and finished as runner-up — but the show’s city-versus-country dynamic is preserved.
Accordingly, the women are divided into 2 camps. The “city” bachelorettes hail mainly from California and New York, with a couple from Florida. The “country” candidates are drawn mainly from the South, with one from Kansas.
According to CMT, 2 of the women come from Alabama and one from the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
