I'm eager to see the young players show off.  Just hope the starters get the job done early.  

There's another problem.  Several of the freshmen have reached their maximum games without losing the redshirt.  So those won't play.  Still, we have a bunch of young WRs, RBs, and QBs who need experience.  Hope to see them.

3:00 mark is when Coach Saban talks about this year being affected "by external factors this year more than any other team" ...

First time I've heard CNS talk about.  Not enough specifics, but something going on inside this team.

I watched Bryce a lot during the Ole Miss game.  He didn't smile and laugh much like he used to.  Of course, we were losing much of the time.  Still, he doesn't seem to have that spark in personality he used to have.
 

But I don't think he's the key.  Something else is going on.  CNS said "external factors".  Maybe NIL issues and demands on players and coaches.

Let's be honest, top players have always gotten either money or other benefits.  Coach Bryant's books discuss player compensations dating back to the 1950s.  

During the late 60s, after the NCAA cracked down on benefits, I remember friends who played for Coach Bryant saying they chose Alabama over the Aubs despite the money offered by Aubs, and don't know how players at Boogerland respected each other when some are paid/some not.

The players all wanted NIL, because that's what young people do.  But it might be that now the players see that money doesn't come without strings attached.  They now have more bosses, not just coaches, and not all of those bosses are supportive.

Every team is dealing with NIL and players getting paid, so it's not an excuse for Bama. There's zero reason why it should've torn apart our team moreso than Georgia, Ohio St, etc.   Pro players on teams don't make the same money.   Nor do people in hardly any profession.
