Some Alabama players used these chips several years ago and the coaching staff made them quit using them. According to the guy that sells them (comes on Finebaum every now and then) they are legal. I think the question for the barn is how or if they were paid for.

Problem is that "supplements" in Health Stores, etc are not under the auspices of the FDA.  There is a lot of fraud in supplement sales.  The FDA has been trying to get more governance over supplements, and investigates when someone dies, but little else.  Read an example:

They're not drugs. They are rubber band bracelets with a shiny piece of metal (aluminum) chips mounted on them.. The saleman has been on Finebaum before pushing them as energy boosting. They have been exposed as worthless.

I know very little about these chips but I have listened to him on Finebaum at least twice. I was not impressed and Finebaum gave him a real hard time. Here is the website link:

I put the Jesse signature line on right after the Penn State game. I have thought about changing it. Beating Penn State ain't what it used to be. Wisconsin may be OK but the rest of the Big Ten is awful.
