The second-ranked Alabama football team has been smashing so far this season, compiling a 7-0 record overall and a 4-0 record in the Southeastern Conference.

"I feel we're a hard-nosed football team," senior wide receiver Darius Hanks said. "We hit guys in the mouth early.

"The defense is great. The offense is coming along."
