We try to avoid hyperbole about the Hype Bowl, but it’s the perfect collision between the surreal and all too real. Anything that happens after Nov. 5 is, to borrow a Sabanism, all process.
Sure, someone will play the winner of this game in the SEC Championship.
Someone will play the SEC Championship winner in the BCS game.
Unless someone pulls off the biggest upset since America won its independence, the winner in the next game in Bryant-Denny Stadium will be the next national champion, and everyone will recognize the game as the championship...
