Is anybody having a hard time focusing on work, job, etc. due to the game. Today I woke up and was hoping it was Saturday already. I am calm about the game, but I want it to get here.

Played in a golf tourney this morning...in the rain.  Won by 9 strokes.  Its going to be THAT kind of weekend!

Car (see picture) is now washed, tickets are in the glove box, now I just have to wait for tomorrow.  What the heck can I do today to pass the time?!??!?!
My son is insisting that we get down to Ttown at 8 am for gameday.  Its going to be a long day for this old man, but oh well.  By 11 pm tomorrow night it will have all been worth it!

I've managed to stay somewhat productive this week.  I've got a meeting with the leadership team of my ministry tomorrow then have to visit the wife's aunt in the evening.  Hopefully I'll be able to sleep tomorrow night before the 8 AM Sunday kickoff.

I gotta be honest...I've just mailed it in a few days at work this week (including most of today).  Last week during the bye I set some personal productivity records though I think.

Dear HL, the key is to remain busy:

Wanna bet that this conversation is not happening in various sections of the country. Just for fun, I'll set the stage.  The bar TV is set on ESPN and they are discussing THE big game between the Tide and the Tigers. John is trying to decide whether or not to put his arm around Mary. Imagine this taking place in Ann Arbor or South Bend or Lubbock or Boise.

Mary: Why are they saying this is for the national championship. It's not even Thanksgiving.

John: Just because the teams are picked #1 and #2

Mary: So the winner doesn't have to play anymore?


John: Well, yeah they do. They have finish their schedule and then the SEC championship game and then a national championship game.

Mary: Will we be in those games too?

John: No. But if we win all our games the rest of the season, we may go to the Peach Bowl.

Mary: The Peach Bowl doesn't sound as much fun as the national championship.

John: Finish your beer.

Well i gotta work til lunch but, I have my menu out, gonna have some Gumbo,little smokies in the crock pot,and some mexican style cheese dip,and a few friends over and tailgate at home,and watch it on the big screen,RTR!!! and would love to see Trent truck honey badger.
