Would he have made a difference. Yes we had some kicking issues, but we need a big physical receiver. I believe he would have made a big difference to relieve the pressure. Any thoughts.

Big game by Dee Hart last night. Huh? I wonder what all that was about?

Funny. It just seems Maze and Hanks are the main guys. We threw a deep ball to KB and it was thrown poorly. It has been said before but we do miss JJ. He might be the the most missed player.

I don't know.  I did see him run out of the tunnel in uniform at the beginning of the game.  I would have loved to see him come in to return punts in the 4 Qtr when Maze rolled his ankle.  Wouldn't that had been something if he returned one?

I agree, especially with the scheme they had.  Imagine Julio one on one with that honey badger.  Thinking

He definitely dressed. Did that take the red shirt off of him or does he have to get into a game? May have been just giving LSU DC something extra to think about.

You can dress as many as you want for home games. You do not lose the red shirt for dressing, only if you play. Coaches like to dress the young guys for the big home games so they get a feel for the crowd. It has to be an awsome feeling to go through warm ups and take the field with the team even if you know you will not play this year.

Julio and Duron Carter are two totally different types of recievers.  They are not comparable.

A good example is AJ McCarron in 2009. AJ red shirted that year but late in the season he dressed out and traveled with the team because he was the back up for McElroy if we needed him.

I'd forgotten. But remember we held our breath on not having to use him-- for more than one reason!

Duron would have helped.  Dee Hart too.

A better judge in Baton Rouge would have helped.

Better drug-enforcement by the LSU administration would have helped.

Better bifocals for the referee?

Tainted grass for Les?

Maybe.  But we're Alabama fans.  Our team played hard, had a chance, lost to a good LSU team.  Congrats to them.  Roll Tide.

I hope you guys are just being silly...seriously...If we can win with the players we have now, we wouldnt win with the players we arent playing.  I trust CNS judgement....well unless theres a minute and some change left on the clock with 2 time outs left with a 6-6 tie and we have the ball with nothing to lose

If he would have used his timeouts correctly we would have gotten the ball with 1:29 left to go.  I watched the 4th Qtr again today and timed it.  But instead he gave up.  That is the most disappointing thing of the whole game to me.  We only ran 2 plays on that last series.  The players didn't quit, the coaching staff did.  Of course the players lost all hope after that.  You could see it in their body language.  Their confidence was shot.  The game is on the line, we have the ball last with a chance to win, and your own coach takes the ball out of your hand and says let's go to OT.  That was a terrible decision in my opinion.  Sure they could make a big play on D with a scoop and score or a pick 6, but you have to take that chance and at least go down swinging.  I think we had a better chance of making the big play on O.  If you are to the point that you feel like their D has a better chance to score than our O, then you are in trouble.  There is no reason to play for overtime.  Keep the pressure on their D and make them stop us.  They were close to breaking the whole 4th quarter.  TR gashed them several times.  One or two more plays may have been just enough.  We could easily have gotten down close enough for a more manageable field goal attempt.  But even if we didn't score we keep the pressure on them and don't let up.  This would have carried over into OT.  But as soon as we let up, that was a huge relief for them and they were energized and ready to go, while our players suffered a let down going into OT.
