They are full of BS...It happened right in front of mine, and hundreds of others eyes...he had possession, and he was DOWN....

IMO, the SEC office would have done better to shut the h*ll up..by making such remarks, they just bring more attention to the fact that the refs messed up the call, and that they KNOW it.

What they should have done was suspend the honey thug for his blatant foul.

I suspect that the SEC head office and the chief official have had a "talk" with all the umpire crews..told them "no blood, no foul", and to "let the players play"..if this kind of crap is allowed to continue, someone will get hurt..badly..for life. We already see this kind of officiating in the BB game, esp in the NBA.  And from some of the HS games (FB and BB) I have seen, it's creeping in there , too.

Could it be because it was not ruled a personal foul on the field? He was flagged 10 yds for holding. I complained at the moment it should have been a 15 yd personal foul. I thought the SEC would review it and set him down for at less the first half of this weeks game.

Maybe it's because I've become jaded, but I think it's because of the same reason they didn't bench C** N***** last year.  The SEC is banking (no pun intended) on their chosen cash cow to be in the BCSNCG.  They don't want any more controversy that will stand in the way of themselves and $$$$$$.  With each choose-your-flavor scandal, incidence of lack of integrity, etc., college football is becoming less enjoyable.

The SEC has to back the REF's or people would be asking for their money back. College football is all about money. I use to hate the pay for play thing about players getting paid but after this I think players should get bigger benefits. The REF gets paid to blow calls so why not pay the players are working hard just to be embarrassed by the REF's. RTR!
