Alabama's Barrett Jones to be presented ARA Sportsmanship Award tonight

Barrett Jones will be presented with the ARA Sportsmanship Award at tonight's Alabama-Vanderbilt men's basketball game at Coleman Coliseum.

The national award is said to be the only one to "recognize an athlete's character as it relates to sportsmanship."

"Barrett jumped out at us as one of the greats on and off the field," BYU coach LaVell Edwards said in a press release. "This kid is one for the books with his outstanding track record, desire to win, and willingness to give back and help those in need."

Barret Jones is a very big man!! Gene Stallings is not a small person but he looked that when standing beside Jones tonight.

Jones is an asset to this university, city, and state, he's an outstanding young man.
