Yeah, for a cracked pinky.  WTH?  For $1M/year salary I'd play with a compound-fractured pelvis!

I'd certainly at least try to play one-handed for that kind of cashola. Hey, there have been a couple of pitchers that have done it.

They lost their other shortstop to an injured pinky as well last night, the xrays showed no fracture but I think he might be out of the lineup for a few days.

Dadgummed injuries are really plaguing the Braves this year. I'm surprised they are still in the hunt.

Maybe those guys should start wearing a glove!!  LOL

Yep, 2, they've had more than their share of injuries.  Really too bad.

I think Chipper has been a big reason for their success this year, he has been a true leader for them when he has been healthy to play.

I know he's now 40 years old and ready to retire, but I'll sure miss him.

Chipper is another reason I want them in the playoffs this year.  He deserves a curtain call.

That sure would be great for Chipper to go out with a WS win.

With his homer last night, Chipper also tied Mike Schmidt for second in RBIs among third basemen.  Applause E-Cred

Braves rally with 3 in the bottom of the 8th to win 8-7. Kimbrel slams the door shut with another save, striking out the side in the 9th. Jumping Jumping

Kudos to the Braves, it wasn't a pretty win but it counts in the W column. I can't say enough about Kimbrell, he is one tough pitcher.

Fox said he has 62 strikeouts in 30 innings of work. The kid is amazing. Glad he made the all-star team and really hope he stays healthy.
