The Dodgers couldn't hit their way out of a paper sack right now.

Wow! I haven't followed them in a while. Last I checked, they had a pretty big lead over everybody else in their division.

They've won 6 of their last 23.  Granted 20 of those were without Matt Kemp and 15 without Andre Either, their two best offensive players by far.

Matt Kemp had 12 homeruns in April.  The ENTIRE Dodger starting line-up had 6 throughout the month of June.

They come out and show what they can do when they sweep the Mets. I just hope they do not have a let down after these games. RTR!

Whoa! Somehow I missed that. The Dodgers were running away in NL West earlier and looked invincible. I was so busy watching the Braves and going up & down then watching the Orioles fade, I missed the Dodgers. Not that I care, since I hate them.

"Braves rally from 9-0 deficit to top Nationals in 11th"

Just 2.5 games back now.  They've won 8 of the last 10.

 Laughing

My wife, youngest daughter and I went to a Yankees/ Braves game about 8-9 years ago with my brother and his wife. It was a day game and it was Africa hot. My wife said that she and my daughter were going to the clubhouse to cool off. In my stupidity I told her that was just for members. She said "we'll see" in that "silly rabbit" tone of voice. Sure enough, they got in somehow and watched the whole game from there. My point was going to be that I didn't have to listen to her during the game, but I thing the point just turned out to be how much smarter than me she is.  Embarrassed

After trailing 6-0 in the 5th, I figured the Braves were toast. This type of game could be a huge confidence-builder for the rest of the year. Now, if we can keep these guys healthy, we could make the playoffs.

That is going to be the key down the stretch. They get some guys off the DL, and the Braves could certainly make a run at this thing. Unfortunately, it looks like the Orioles are clinging to a wild card spot for dear life at this point. Yankees are running away with the division.  Sad
