I have noticed that my Philly-loving cousin isn't saying nearly as much on Facebook right now.

The Phils have a very mediocre team. The team that surprises me is the Nats. I thought after last year that they were the real deal, but I guess they woke up and found out they they were the Nats.

Yeah, I think several people up here expected the Nats to make a World Series run. But then they realized, "What a minute. We're really the Expos!"

Yeah, that and Washington has had so many successful baseball teams over the course of history. Remember the Washington Senators? Me neither.

LOL, I remember the Senators. I believe if I am not wrong that Ted Williams played for them at one time. I think I have the link for it.

No, he MANAGED the team around 1968, but he never played for them. I remember seeing a couple of their games on TV.

I saw the Senators play an exhibition game at Rickwood Field in B'ham in the late 60's. Each year B'ham would host an exhibition game or two as teams were leaving Florida and heading North getting ready for the season to start. My Dad always took me to those games.

The Nationals lose today so the Braves can add to their lead with a win. The Braves have 51 games remaining for this season.

THe Braves are leading the Pjillies 3-1 in the top of the 4th. Cliff Lee is pitching for the Phillies, Wood is pitching for the Braves. Johnson, Braves 3rd baseman is 2 for 2 tonight and his batting average is now .348.

We're thinking too much alike now.

No need for that; it happens.

Braves just got out of a mess with a pickoff at 2nd.  Still 4-1.

Braves win 4-1. There seems to be some magic in Atlanta.

The Braves will vist the Nationals tonight, Minor is pitching for the Braves and Strasburg for the Mats, 6:05 ct. If the Braves sweep or win this series, they will be hard to catch in the East.

Kemp's left foot is in a boot, Hanley's arm is in a sling, and Puig's thumb is injured.

Our season probably rests on the results of Hanley's MRI today.
