Anyone happen to know what JH batting average is while batting in the lead off spot?

I'm not sure how many games ago they moved him to the leadoff spot but here's a stat that indicates how well he has been hitting.

Heyward is hitting .385 over his last 14 games with 18 runs.

Thanks, he has been a huge plus there.

I like the way he has changed his swing from trying to hit everything over the fence to line driving the ball and using his speed on the bases. This is the maturity that the Braves have been waiting to see from him, and I think he likes this role of batting first.

I think he has been in the lead off spot a week, maybe a little more. I think it was at the start of the Nats series last week.

Yes 2Stater if I am correct he started and went 3 for 4 that day I believe. Don't hold me to that, I am trying to find a box score for that day. RTR!

Freddy G made a good move in doing that.

Uggla went on the 15 day disabled list for eye surgery. This caught me totally off guard.

 Shocked

Quote
Braves second baseman Dan Uggla said he finally realized he could not wait any longer to have Lasik eye surgery and was placed on the 15-day disabled list on Tuesday.

Nope. He started at lead-off when the 14 game win streak started on July 26 vs. the Cardinals. Here's a link from August 9th:

The Dodgers are 24-3 since All-Star break!!!

39-8 in their last 47 which is the best run any MLB team has been on since 1951.  I sure hope they don't get to the playoffs and crap out.

Man, they are totally on fire! They still have Kemp injured, too, don't they?

Heyward just homered in his first at bat. Braves up 1-0 in the first.

Well, you can add a double to his nights work, he is 2 for 2 and the Braves now lead 3-0 in the 2nd with 1 out and runners on the corners. The Phillies have changed pitchers.
