Was on ESPN Gamecast and saw where Chris Johnson singled in the winning run for Atlanta.  Applause E-Cred

Jordan Schafer was the hero in this game. He went 3 for 4, 2 RBI, and scored the winning run. I also saw him make an outstanding play in right field in the 7th inning. There two runners on with 2 outs and the batter drilled a line drive to right. Schafer got a tremendous jump on the ball and caught it on top of his shoe laces for the 3rd out.  Applause E-Cred

Oh and by the way, he was batting in Heywards spot, leadoff.

Braves win 3-1 over Cleveland. McCann hit a 3-run homer. However, Upton got hit on the hand by a pitch and left the game. Just what we needed.

One thing I like seeing about the Braves is something we agreed sometime ago had to happen. Some of the back up guys are stepping up and taking the place of the regulars and they are playing like MLB players and still winning. RTR!

Braves beat Miami 2-1.

Good game, but little offense (again).

Yeah, we can not win in the playoffs or WS winning games 2-1, 2-0, 3-1, etc. We have to find some offense. We had the bases loaded with 1 out in the 7th and we got nothing out of it.

Huh? I thought that's how you win in the playoffs/WS by scoring more runs than the opponent. Embarrassed Tongue

I think these are quality wins recently, their defense has been the difference in those games. This team has developed into a well rounded team that can win games regardless of the adversity they face. Applause E-Cred

You will not win if you can only score 2 or 3 runs a game. The Dodgers, Cardinals, & Pirates will not lose if we can only get 2 or 3 runs a game.

I saw last night, I believe it was 88 appearances, and his first Save. He has sure worked for that one. Please correct me if I am wrong. RTR!

The Braves bats come alive and score like crazy. Braves win 5-4 in 11 innings.
