Crimson Tide men lead at the SEC Golf Championship after Round 1

Alabama Men and Women golf teams are ranked No. 2. They both have a shot at SEC and NCAA Championships.

After day one at the SEC Championship, the University of Alabama men's golf team currently sits atop the leader board with an 8-under-par round of 272 at the par-70, 6,898 yard Sea Side Course at the Sea Island Golf Course. 

The Crimson Tide's eight-under 272 gives them a 1-shot lead of Georgia, who carded a 273. Auburn is in striking distance at third, five strokes out of the lead with Florida (283) and Kentucky (284) round out the top five

Wouldn't it be something if both won their championship. That could be a first for a school to have both the mens and womens championship in the same year. RTR!!
