By thugs do you mean black folks?  Because i see no evidence that the "thugs" who were gunned down were nothing more or less than three guys enjoying some time with friends. Yes, i am against people carrying handguns on their persons or in their vehicles. They are useless for defense and kill countless innocent people who would otherwise be alive.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- A defense attorney says a man accused of killing three people near Auburn University over the weekend has turned himself in.

Attorney Susan James says in a phone interview that Desmonte Leonard was taken into custody on Tuesday. Her comments confirm an earlier report by a law enforcement official who spoke to the Associated Press on condition of anonymity.

I hate to burst your liberal bubble, but yes multiple murders have occurred with someone using a knife/machete, and/or bat. This has occurred in the USA, England (cricket bat), India, Philippines, etc. Also, you failed to mention the thousands of lives saved every year because someone had a firearm. I have personal experience in this area.


According to a study by criminologist Gary Kleck of Florida State University, there are approximately 2.5 million cases of people using firearms for self-defense in America each year. Also, according to the Department of Justice’s 2007 Uniformed Crime Report, states with right-to-carry laws have a 30 percent lower homicide rate, as well as a 46 percent lower robbery rate.

 , well done MD. Those numbers are staggering. Where I live out in a rural area most everybody knows all the other neighbors and they keep watch. Some of these ol boys that watch haul guns in trucks and cars and if they catch somebody doing something to their friends they shoot these guys and dump them. They are good ol boys but they are as mean as a Copperhead Snake. RTR!

I know you would like to turn my view to racism-- liberals always hide behind that. This "party" was likely more of a public disturbance in a parking lot than a party, and right thinking, non-thuggery would have dismissed themselves long before things reached the thug outcome that it did. Most people I know stand a far greater chance being killed at work or in a toaster wiring, electrical mishap.

Here is what I don't get about idiots who claim we need gun control and its the guns fault. 
1. the gun aint a living being so the gun doesn't kill...people who pull the trigger kill.

2. if they outlawed guns all together...who is going to follow the law?...I say law abiding citizens would follow the law right?  are law abiding citizens the ones killing innocent people or is it thugs and criminals?.....well I do declare I think the thugs and criminals aka the NON law abiding citizens are the ones doing the crimes right?  in that case, what the hell makes anyone think that if there were a law that you can't own a gun that these thugs and criminals would obey the law and turn in their guns???  That is the stupidest thing I have ever heard and just plain ole common sense would tell you that it wouldn't work.  you do that and the only people that would have guns would be the thugs. it would make it harder for law abiding citizens to get guns, but criminals can still get guns just like peolpe can still get drugs relatively easy and drugs are illegal.  how is that working out?

How about we start making the punishment for all crimes more severe?  Just a thought.
