South Carolina beat Oklahoma to go to the College World Series. They will be going for their 3rd CWS title in a row. GO SEC!

I can't decide whether to cheer for USCe, Florida, or Arky.

Does it help us somehow if USCe wins it?  I'd hate to listen to Spurrier (AGAIN) about how winning in baseball helps his football team.

After watching Arkansas beat Baylor the last two games of their 3 game series, I have to pull for the Hogs. There's no way they should have won those two games but they found a way to win.

Thanks, Jamos.   Applause E-Cred
Good enough for me.  I haven't been able to watch any of them.

I actually think the bb team's success exposes the shortcomings of the football team, and their coach.  Laughing

Yep, I watched Arkansas somehow beat Baylor last night.  It was the 10th inning, and the first inning all game that Arkansas got its lead off batter on first base.  Great pitching and defense, some mistakes by Baylor, and finally a little small ball, got that victory.

USCe has to face Florida next.  They beat Florida last year to win it all.  This year Florida is favored, but I will be rooting for USCe, because who really wants Florida to get another championship.

I have to pick USC. They are the defending champs and they have proven they know how to win the big one.

Hmmm.... this is a tough one, but I'm gonna have to pull for the Gamecocks to win 3 in a row.  Cool

Hmm.  Jody, I already had you penciled in as a 3-in-a-row hopeful.  I'm guessing tongue-in-cheek for that "this is a tough one" comment, no?

Wink Very tongue-in-cheek.... Good luck to all the SEC teams, though.

Well first Coach Spurrier is lost as a goat. He has no idea about baseball, lol. I watched USCe beat Oklahoma and they played like a team with hunger. I think they have a great chance to take it all. I wish we had a coaching staff like they do. Good luck USCe and my God Bless you with being safe. RTR!

Well. USC proved why they are the two time defending CWS champs against Florida. Also, Arkansas beat Kent State.

Florida came into the 2012 College World Series looking like the nation's top team, holding the country's top ranking, and possessing the NCAA Tournament's top overall seed. Unfortunately for the Gators, South Carolina is still the top team in Omaha, and the Gamecocks got their 12th straight College World Series victory in a 7-3 triumph over Florida.

The 3 teams representing the SEC look very strong and I won't be a bit surprised if Mike Slive gets to put one more National Championship trophy on the trophy self of the SEC office.

Agree. Where the heck did Arkansas come from in BB. This is a major development for them and the SEC. Bama needs to step it up in BB or we will be in the cellar for a while.

 Huh?
